How to activate APN on MTN Uganda line on SmartPhones

Activating the Access Point Name (APN) on your MTN Uganda line is a crucial step to ensure that your smartphone can connect to the internet and use various data services. Understanding APN:

  • MCC: 641
  • MNC: 10
  • Authentication type: None
  • APN type: Default Ensure that you enter these details accurately. Leave fields that are not mentioned as “Blank” or “Not set.”

Step 7: Save APN Settings:

  1. After entering the APN settings, save or apply the changes. This option is usually found in the upper-right corner or through an on-screen prompt.

Step 8: Select the MTN APN:

  1. Once saved, go back to the APN settings menu. You should now see a list of available APNs. Select the MTN Uganda APN you just created.

Step 9: Enable Data:

  1. Return to the main settings menu and ensure that mobile data is enabled. You can usually find this option under “Network & Internet” or “Connections.”

Step 10: Test the Connection:
